Get DriverTakings on your phone

Add DriverTakings to your home screen and it opens full-screen, just like an app — no download, no app store account, no cost. Follow the steps for your phone below.

Android

Chrome

  1. 1Open drivertakings.co.uk in ChromeMake sure you're using the Chrome app, not another browser.
  2. 2Tap the menu (⋮) top-rightThree dots in the top corner of the browser.
  3. 3Tap "Install app" or "Add to Home screen"Chrome may show this as a banner automatically — tap that instead if you see it.
  4. 4Tap "Install" to confirmDriverTakings appears on your home screen with its own icon.
iPhone / iPad

Safari

  1. 1Open drivertakings.co.uk in SafariThis only works in Safari — Chrome on iPhone can't add apps to your home screen.
  2. 2Tap the Share iconThe square with an arrow pointing up, in the toolbar.
  3. 3Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"You may need to scroll the share menu down to find it.
  4. 4Tap "Add" in the top-rightDriverTakings appears on your home screen with its own icon.

Once installed, DriverTakings opens full-screen with no browser address bar, and updates itself automatically — there's nothing to keep downloading or updating manually.
